Friends are the family you choose - choose wisely

Sometimes we get lucky and someone comes into your life and changes you forever. I have been blessed to have many people come into my life and make a massive impact on who I am as a person, I don't plan to ever let those people go - or for that matter, make sure they always know how much they mean to me! 


Babycakes - my bestie, met this girl while working at a golf club and we instantly clicked! She tells it like it is and doesn't put up with your shit. She is also one of the most kind hearted, generous and absolutely gorgeous girls I have ever met. She has helped me through some very dark times in my life and motivates me everyday to be a better version of myself. She is a pillar of strength in my long standing battle with obesity for which I will never be able to thank her for. I don't know how she will survive four weeks in Europe with me but I can't wait to explore the world with her. 


Millzdawwwggg, soulmate, realestate buddies, this chick! My sister from another mister. She keeps me sane, she keeps my secrets, she gives me advice, she lets me talk shit, she lets me cheat on my diet, she eats ALL OF THE DUMPLINGS with me! Goddam do I love her. If ever life gets too hard for either of us we can always go to max brenner and talk ourselves sane again. Relaxing with wine and several seasons of Geordie Shore with this babe is just heavenly!!


Ernie, Eurine, Bert, Ezza - I just call her Eryne. I have so much time and love for this girl - I don't know what I would do without her!!! Such a smartypants she always knows the answers to life's difficult questions, like what's chandler bing's job? Hehehe. Our friendship has blossomed over our mutual love of all things sport related. My girl here loves her AFL - JUST LIKE ME!!! Can't wait to spend the next decade of footy seasons screaming at men in short shorts kicking a ball around!!


My love. Never has a person come into my life and made me as happy and fulfilled as this boy. Three months together and I can't wait for many more days, months and years together.

Euro Adventures Pt 16 - Wild Boar Panini's and a Relaxing Afternoon in Roma

Another day another dollar - oh wait...I don't have to go to work today. Haha. We have another drive day today to get to Rome - our last stop in Italy before getting into Greece and the Greek Islands. It was about 4-5 hours from Florence to Rome and we had an early lunch stop at a little town called Orvieto.  It was a beautiful little town except for one fact - it was on the absolute top of a mountain - making it very had to take over in war and times of unrest. Euro Adventures Pt 1 - Catch ya Aus

The adventure has officially begun. A cruisey 3 hour drive up to Sydney and we are on our way - well almost. It's waiting time, 4 hours in an airport (any airport) is never going to be a barrel of laughs. But we are surviving... With a little help from our friend T-minus one hour until boarding. Can't wait to begin this incredible adventure with one of my best friends. Oh the places we will go, the people we will meet, the food we will eat, the awesome stuff we will do!!!!  We are beyond excited. I am just going to use this blog as a reminder of all the amazing things we do, see, and experience. I do not want to miss a minute of it! Euro Adventures Pt 19 - Sailing The Days Away, Greek Islands Style

Waking up on a ferry is a very surreal feeling... It was a very hot and very small cabin we were in and the boat was very softly humming. Weird! But at least we were closer to arriving in Greece - how exciting!! Our Topdeck tour is coming to its end and its very bittersweet, good, because I'm looking forward to getting home and sad, because I've been lucky to meet some amazing people. At least we had the three days of sailing together and partying in Mykonos to look forward to. We tried to have a little bit of brekkie on the ship before we disembarked but I wasn't feeling the best so I passed. Noddy gathered us all together and collected our keys and we made our way to the exit of the boat... Man! Greek people are pushy!! So pushy!
